Atomuffler Damper Pulsation
Snubber encompasses all of
the salient features embodied
in the industry standard — atomuffler
— plus an added variable
reactive damper used to
strip noise from emanating
raw exhaust air — providing an
unobstructed free-flow air
passage.
The unique design utilizes
a proven reactive principle of noise
suppression. The explosive
force of exhaust air impacting
against the damper thrusts
the damper into a oscillating
motion, thus converting
dynamic acoustic energy into kinetic
energy. The dampers’ responsive
pulsating motion drains off
kinetic energy, hence dissipating
acoustical energy.
Featuring cost effective
noise reduction, this model easily
handles dirty contaminated
air. Dirt and moisture laden air
does not impair the operating
performance of this unit.
Constructed entirely of corrosion
resistant material, engineered
for long service life. Supplied
with a replaceable disseminator
element. Available with
male thread connections
(NPT or BSP) for quick,
easy connection to the exhaust port.
The unit should be mounted
in a protective position, free from
excess vibration. Use a
wrench on the hex head to secure the
unit to the exhaust port. |
