compressed air ejector presently
used for the ejection of
parts, Alwitco Air Ejector Mufflers concentrate
the ejector air stream in
a narrow beam over a longer
distance, deliver maximum
force at the exact point required.
With 76% less air consumption,
they provide more air thrust
with lower pressure requirements,
reduce air ejection noise
by as much as 21 decibels
(dba).
As complete units with cylindrical
housing as illustrated, and
with either male or female
standard pipe thread connections,
Alwitco Air Ejector Mufflers
can be directly attached to compressed
air lines properly positioned
for parts ejection. Ordinarily
furnished with a standard
collimator insert, they can
also be supplied, where
specified, with a special heat-resistant
metal collimator insert
for use in locations where extremely
high ambient temperatures
could present a problem. Units
should be mounted in a productive
position, free from excessive
vibration. Use wrench on
hex head to tighten unit to the
device.
Alwitco Air Ejector Mufflers
are also available as separate collimator
inserts, for use on jobs
where it becomes necessary
to drill air holes directly
into a die to provide direct air thrust for
effective parts ejection.
Low in cost, these collimator inserts
can be installed directly
into the die at the air hole outlet,
merely by drilling or re-aiming
the proper opening to accommodate
the muffler insert. |
